Lahore, October 4, 2025: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has appointed Sri Lankan legend Ranjan Madugalle as the match referee for the upcoming Pakistan vs South Africa series, which forms part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 and includes Tests, ODIs, and T20Is from October 12 to November 8.

The series will feature a diverse panel of officials from Australia, Bangladesh, New Zealand, England, and Pakistan, ensuring top-level officiating across all formats.

🏏 Test Series Appointments

The first Test will take place at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, from October 12–16.

On-field umpires: Rodney Tucker (Australia, ICC Elite Panel) and Christopher Brown (New Zealand, ICC Emerging Umpires Group)

Third umpire: Saikat Sharfuddoula (Bangladesh, ICC Elite Panel)

Fourth umpire: Faisal Khan Afridi (Pakistan, ICC International Panel)

For the second Test, to be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from October 20–24:

On-field umpires: Christopher Brown and Saikat Sharfuddoula

Third umpire: Rodney Tucker

The T20I leg begins on October 28 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
